Fun facts: I have a BA in English from Bennington College. Though I currently live in NYC, I’ve studied and worked in both the UK and India. Nineteenth-century literature has provided inspiration for many of my works. Before taking up libretto, I published several novels under the pen name Annabelle Troy; these titles include Jane Eyre Gets Real, Hansel and Gretel in the House of Candy and The Grace of the Hunchback. To date, my original operas (I am the librettist, Edmund Cionek the composer) are Elizabeth Frankenstein and Blue Tattoo aka Returning: the Ordeal of Olive Oatman,
